Frederic Tillmann is an experienced German show jumper, horseman, trainer, and stable operator based at Gestüt Gut Neuhaus in Grevenbroich. He comes from a well-known equestrian family with a long and successful history in the sport. With three generations actively involved in equestrian sport, horses, training, competition, and true horsemanship have shaped the Tillmann family and Stud Gut Neuhaus for many years.

One of Frederic’s greatest sporting achievements is his victory in the 95th German Jumping Derby in Hamburg in 2026 with DSP Comanche VL. Before this remarkable success, he had already finished second twice in the Hamburg Derby, also with Comanche. Winning this prestigious and extremely demanding class underlines his experience, patience, and outstanding ability as a rider and trainer.

This victory also continued a special family story: Frederic’s brother Gilbert Tillmann won the German Jumping Derby in Hamburg 13 years earlier, in 2013, with Hello Max. Their father Friedhelm Tillmann has also been closely connected to Gut Neuhaus and equestrian sport for many years, making the Tillmann family a true name in German show jumping.

Together with his family, Frederic represents Gestüt Gut Neuhaus and Tillmann Sportpferde — a professional equestrian operation focused on show jumping, training, breeding, and the development of high-quality sport horses. The stable combines tradition, modern sport, and careful horse management, creating a strong foundation for young talents and experienced competition horses alike.

The next generation is already part of the sport as well: Frederic’s son Lennard Tillmann is active in show jumping, while his daughter Madlin Tillmann is successfully involved in dressage.
