SAFARA

ABOUT

Safara is a seven-year-old Westphalian mare who catches the eye with her beautiful type, sporting attitude and enjoyable rideability. Sensitive, forward-thinking and keen to take on a fence, she is an appealing partner for riders who appreciate a motivated horse with plenty of blood.

By Sandro Junior, a son of Sandro Boy, out of a Cassini I mare, Safara combines interesting jumping bloodlines with considerable competition experience of her own. She has earned placings in both young horse and regular jumping classes at M* level and has competed in courses up to 1.25 m.

Safara is very pleasant to ride and tackles a course with enthusiasm. She takes her rider towards the fences while remaining careful, offering an athletic and responsive feel. Her rider should be comfortable managing and channelling that forward energy. She is therefore particularly interesting for ambitious amateurs and juniors experienced with blood-type horses.

Safara performs flying changes, although she sometimes becomes disunited around a course, as can also be seen in her competition videos. She continues jumping and can be ridden through these moments, but her next rider should be comfortable with this and continue working on the consistency of her changes. On the ground, she is straightforward and pleasant to handle.

A beautiful, enthusiastic mare with proven competition experience – for a rider who enjoys blood, forward energy and a horse that takes them to a fence.
