Old Fashioned – Exciting Prospect for the Top Level

Old Fashioned is a 7-year-old gelding who immediately stands out with his exceptional scope, carefulness, and tremendous power over the fences. His pedigree further highlights his sporting potential: he is a half-brother to For Fun, ridden by Michael Whitaker, and his direct dam line has already produced several 1.60 m horses.

Old Fashioned was taken over from an amateur rider and only started his competition career this year. Since then, he has completed his first courses up to 1.10 m, gaining valuable experience in the show ring. He is therefore still at the beginning of his education and requires an experienced rider who can give him the necessary time and continue to develop him consistently.

Over the fences, he shows everything you would look for in a horse for the higher levels: exceptional scope, carefulness, power, and plenty of go. His outstanding attitude is another quality that deserves special mention. He is willing to work, thinks with his rider, and has the ambition and willingness to perform needed to continue progressing with the right training.
