NELSON DE COLOGNE

ABOUT

Nelson de Cologne is a promising young gelding who combines an interesting pedigree with a lovely temperament and a positive attitude towards his work.

His sire, Colman, represents valuable Holsteiner show jumping bloodlines. Nelson also boasts an interesting dam line: his dam, Nadeshda Jandis des Cologne, is currently successful up to 1.20 m, while his granddam, Janis Joplin de Cologne, has achieved results up to 1.40 m.

Nelson has already gained his first competition experience in riding horse classes and young horse show jumping classes up to 90 cm. Presented by an amateur rider, he proved to be straightforward, reliable and pleasant to ride.

Over fences, Nelson impresses with his willing attitude, motivation and readiness to work with his rider. He is eager to please and approaches new challenges with confidence and a natural, uncomplicated manner.

Nelson is equally pleasant to handle in everyday life. He is kind, good for the farrier and easy to load, and he hacks out alone without any problems. His balanced temperament and rideability make him an interesting prospect for ambitious amateur riders looking for a young horse with a good pedigree, quality and potential for the future in show jumping.
