HIDE AND SEEK: The Search Is Over – Your Next Partner in Sport

Hide and Seek combines quality, scope and carefulness over fences with a truly lovely character. This eight-year-old Westphalian gelding came directly from his breeder into sport at the age of seven and is therefore still a little greener than many horses of the same age. He shows plenty of potential and promising qualities for higher levels. An interesting prospect for someone who recognises talent and enjoys developing it further.

By Hickstead White out of a Coronas mare, Hide and Seek has a pedigree firmly rooted in showjumping. Away from the fences, he also offers good movement and a pleasant feel in his everyday flatwork.

His owner describes him as an absolute sweetheart on the ground: friendly, straightforward to load and clip, and sociable with other horses. He has even happily carried small children while being led. Under saddle, he is alert and forward-going, with plenty of blood, without rearing or bucking. He can suit a compatible amateur for the smaller classes. For more demanding courses, he still needs mileage and a rider who gives him confidence.

• Competition experience: Placed at 1.00 m and 1.10 m with an amateur; now professionally produced, with clear rounds at 1.15 m and competition experience at 1.20 m.
• Quality over fences: Careful and scopey, with promising potential for further development.
• Enjoyable to ride: Good movement and a pleasant feel in his flatwork.
• Lovely character: Friendly, easy to handle and sociable with other horses; straightforward to load and clip.
• Rider suitability: An interesting option for a compatible amateur at the lower levels, with a confident, experienced rider needed to develop him towards bigger tracks.
