BEARNA HEATHER

ABOUT

This beautiful, fully registered Connemara mare, born in 2023 and currently standing at 141 cm, is a truly special pony with an outstanding temperament, lovely breeding and all the qualities to become a fantastic family and competition partner.

She has been under saddle for just a few months, having been carefully and gently started with her age and development in mind. From the very beginning, she has been exceptionally easy, willing and straightforward, taking everything in her stride and showing a wonderful, kind attitude towards her work. For a three-year-old, she is already remarkably sensible and advanced.

She is incredibly sweet and uncomplicated, both on the ground and under saddle. Easy enough for children to lead, handle and enjoy, she is already happily ridden by a nine-year-old child. She is still learning the finer details of handling, but her lovely nature makes everything very straightforward.

Her natural jumping ability is particularly impressive. After only a handful of jumps, she was already happily jumping a complete course, showing just how uncomplicated and willing she is. She remains beautifully calm and relaxed when jumping, never getting strong or rushing towards the fences. She prefers a little encouragement from her rider rather than taking over, making her a particularly lovely prospect for a young rider. She also shows great potential for flying changes.

She is still slightly croup-high and is therefore expected to grow a few more centimetres as she matures.

With her beautiful looks, excellent Connemara pedigree and fantastic character, she has everything it takes to become a wonderful competition pony while remaining an enjoyable and much-loved family member.

An ideal mother-daughter share, children’s pony or future showjumping partner.
